The U.S. Treasury website today reported that as of last Friday, the last day of 2010, the National Debt stood at $14,025,215,218,708.52.

Starting with the Bush Administration:
In office from January 20, 2001 – January 20, 2009 (8 years)
National Debt as of January 20, 2001  =   $5,727,776,738,304.64
National Debt as of January 20, 2009  =  $10,626,877,048,913.08
Total Debt accumulated  = $4,899,100,310,608.44

Average Debt accumulated per year in office = $612,387,538,826.055 ($612.4 Billion)

Obama Administration:
In office from January 20, 2009 to present (2 years)
National Debt as of January 20, 2009  =  $10,626,877,048,913.08
National Debt as of December 31, 2010 = $14,025,215,218,708.52
Total Debt accumulated  = $3,398,338,169,795.44

Average Debt accumulated per year in office = $1,699,169,084,897.72 ($1.699 Trillion)

To be almost exact Obama is spending at a rate 2.77 times more a year than G.W. Bush

When the democrats took control of both houses during Bush's last 2 years the debt rose annually nearly 2 times faster.
